Sports

The Trinity Hall Sports Pavilion, located by the Wychfield playing fields, contains two squash courts, a small gym and four sets of changing rooms with lockers. It also has a small kitchen and a communal area with tables and benches and sometimes as a table tennis set. The squash courts and table tennis set can be booked from the Porters’ Lodge.

The Pavilion Gym is equipped with a running machine, a walking machine, a step machine, two rowing machines, a gym ball, and some exercise mats. However, there are no free weights. You can bring your own CDs to play on the stereo there or listen to the radio. Note that you will need to do a short (10 min) gym induction to be permitted to use the gym, which you can sign up for through email or in the Porter’s Lodge. The keycard to access the gym room (not the Sports Pavillion in general, which is accessible to everyone) can be signed out from the Porters’ Lodge.

Outside, you will find the college sports fields, which may be used for football, rugby, croquet and a number of other field sports. Use of these pitches must be arranged through Alexander Bujak (Groundsman) on 01223 332530. At least five working days notice is required to ensure the pitch can be prepared if available. For weekend games the deadline is noon Monday. Please note: main pitches are for booked matches only.  Additional practice areas are available for regular use.

Adjacent to the sports fields and by the Pavilion are two tennis courts, which can also be used as basketball/netball courts. These areas can be booked out in advance at the Porters’ Lodge.
